What is PWC Growth Track?

The Providence Growth Track guides you to discover your purpose and live the life God created for you. It is made up of various steps that equip you to grow in your relationship with Jesus, connect you to the church community, and discover your God-given purpose to make a difference.

"Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it."
1 Corinthians 12:27
Our "Meet Providence" class is designed to tell you our story and share the mission and vision of Providence Wesleyan Church.  During the class you will meet our Lead Pastor and be introduced to our ministry staff.  The church website, the church app, and campus resources will also be reviewed during this class.

"He guides me along the right paths for his name's sake."
Psalm 23:3
The Pathways class provides an overview of the Providence Growth Track.  A brief overview of each of the classes will be provided. Participants will be encouraged to fill out a personal interest survey at the completion of the class.

"Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good."
1 Peter 2:2-3
The Growing in Christ class is a long-standing favorite at Providence Church.  Growing in Christ covers 13 of the foundational verses in the Bible that teach us about being a follower of Jesus.

"For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us to lay upon you no greater burden than these essentials..."
Acts 15:28
The Essentials class explores what it looks like to become a member of our local church family.  We all need a family, why not join ours?

"So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh."
Gal 5:16
Our Fruit of the Spirit and Spiritual Gifts Class explores what it means for the believer to live under the guidance and direction of the Holy Spirit.  In this class we will explore what it means to bare fruit and to use the gifts that God has given to us.

"... train yourself to be godly.  For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come."
1 Tim 4:7-8
In the Spiritual Disciplines class we cover various practices that help us grow deeper and more intimate in our walk with God.  The class covers a range of disciplines such as prayer, fasting, simplicity, solitude and much more.

"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.  Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is -- his good, pleasing and perfect will."
Romans 12:2
Our Freedom class seeks to help the believer break free from the old patterns and find new ones that bring joy and abundant life promised to us by Christ.
